Defender Thanh Chung misses Asian Cup 2023

Thanh Chung's injury is the most worrying among the "wounded soldiers" in the Vietnam team during this training session. The Vietnamese team will gather in Hanoi on December 31, then travel to Qatar from January 5, 2024. Before playing the opening match of the 2023 Asian Cup, Quang Hai and his teammates will have a "rehearsal" match with Kyrgyzstan on January 9.

At the 2023 Asian Cup, Vietnam is in Group D with Japan, Iraq and Indonesia. The tournament starts from January 12 to February 10.
