(Dan Tri) - The 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will take place over a month, with the participation of 10 teams and 6 nights of competition. This is the first time in the fireworks seasons that host Vietnam has 2 representatives participating.
On December 27, at the Conference on implementing the Da Nang City Tourism Development Plan 2025, information about the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF 2025) was announced, promising to bring many new experiences to visitors.
DIFF 2025 will take place from May 31, 2025 to July 12, 2025 with the theme "Da Nang - New Era". For the first time, the number of participating teams has been increased from 8 to 10, including 2 teams representing host Vietnam and 8 international teams competing over 6 nights of competition.

In particular, DIFF 2025 will witness the return of the team from Korea, the team that won the runner-up prize in 2011. This is one of the notable highlights of this year's festival season.
Each competition night will be combined with attractive art programs, bringing many rich experiences to tourists and residents. This event also marks 50 years of construction and development of Da Nang city.
In addition, Da Nang will organize a series of events to promote tourism such as food festivals, parades, exhibitions, boat races, concerts, Asian film festivals, drone music festivals and jet ski shows.
The International Fireworks Festival - DIFF is a highlight attracting summer tourists to Da Nang, contributing to increasing tourism revenue for the city. During DIFF 2024, Da Nang welcomed more than 50 flights per day, with 455 arriving flights during the 3 final days (July 11-13).
In 2025, Da Nang aims to reach 11.9 million overnight visitors, an increase of 10% over the same period. Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach 4.8 million, domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 7.1 million. Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage and travel in 2025 strives to reach more than 36,000 billion VND.
