On November 15, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online, Ms. Nguyen Ly Bich Chieu - Principal of Tan Son Nhi Primary School (Tan Phu Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) - informed that the school had just organized many experiential activities for all grades; especially the experiential program to learn about artificial intelligence AI.
"When visiting the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, integrating technology and life subjects, students were extremely excited and enthusiastic. It must be said that they were ecstatic," Ms. Chieu emphasized.
Unable to hide his joy, Huynh Van Tuan (grade 5) shared that this was the first time he had been exposed to the "AI environment", visited the Demozone area, displayed new products of smart technology; robotics technology; smart factory model, and was introduced to AI applications in life...
"I love the smart electric fan experience class. After finishing this topic, I understand and can use infrared sensors proficiently in assembly and programming.
Thanks to learning about AI, I was able to compare regular fans and smart fans thanks to the use of AI features in the smart electric fan model," Tuan said.
In addition, the majority of students in grades 4 and 5 said that through the AI approach session, they had interesting experiences in assembling and programming simple models such as wheels, controllers, switches, etc. through motor command cards.

Sharing more about the origin of the "trendy" experiential activities, Ms. Chieu said that the school model is a high-quality, advanced, integrated school, so the school continuously and periodically "pushes" experiential activities closer to students every month, with lesson content. These activities are free of charge.
"Each different experiential activity will have different themes, based on the correlation with the lesson content. Each activity also aims at a different educational purpose. From students' enjoyment, it motivates teachers to be creative, think of new experiences and vice versa.
"There is an environment for students to practice appropriate for each age, improve communication skills, practice society, especially learn about the outside world, and apply new lessons effectively," Ms. Chieu assessed.
Many experiential activities
In addition to the AI experience activities at the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park, according to Ms. Chieu, the school also has other activities to connect reality with lessons, corresponding to each specific topic.
That is the experience at AEON MALL Tan Phu Shopping Center with grade 1; or visiting and studying at Fahasa Bookstore (Tan Phu Ward) with grade 2; and grade 3 is the experiential learning at Dam Sen Cultural Park (Binh Thoi Ward).
"First graders learn experientially at the shopping mall along with integrated content of Vietnamese subjects with the theme of going to the market; or math with the theme of getting familiar with some shapes; or ethics subjects with the theme of loving family, caring for and taking care of family members.
Here, the children visit the merchandise area, observe the goods, choose and buy them with the money they have; helping students know what it is like to go to the market, to love their brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers through choosing products to buy in supermarkets and shopping centers...", Ms. Chieu explained.
