According to information from the Vietnam National Academy of Music, at the Vietnam-Czech business forum held in Prague, Czech Republic, under the witness of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , the Vietnam National Academy of Music, represented by Dr. People's Artist Do Quoc Hung, Deputy Director in charge of the Academy, and the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra, Prague, represented by Mr. Martin Sanda, Director and Conductor, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to facilitate the development of professional exchange cooperation projects in the coming period.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Bohemian Praha Symphony Orchestra.
The Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague was founded in 2000 and is now one of the leading symphony orchestras in the Czech Republic and regularly performs in many cities in Europe and the world .
The cooperation plan between the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Bohemian Orchestra Prague focuses on Western musical instruments, exchanging experts, performing artists, symphonic conductors, choral conductors, creating a bridge of cultural exchange between the two countries, and training and developing young talents.
This will be the basis for the Academy and Orchestra to carry out effective and practical activities in the field of training and performing arts in the coming time.
On this occasion, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong and the delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism visited and worked with the Prague Academy of Performing Arts.

The Academy of Performing Arts Prague is currently the largest art school in the Czech Republic with more than 350 teachers and researchers and 1,500 students.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed and explored the possibilities of cooperation in training and exchanging lecturers and students in the field of performing arts, especially the school's strengths in music, dance, drama, cinema and television.
Previously, within the framework of a high-level visit to Warsaw, Poland, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong had a working session with Professor Tomasz Strahl, Rector and Professor Joanna Lawrynowiccz-Just, Vice Rector in charge of external affairs, Frédéric Chopin University of Music - one of the leading music universities in Poland, and also one of the oldest and most prestigious music training institutions in Europe.
According to Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, the cooperation between the two universities has great potential. The Deputy Minister assigned the Vietnam National Academy of Music to work and negotiate to soon sign a cooperation agreement with the Frédéric Chopin University of Music, as a basis for implementing bilateral cooperation activities in the coming time.
2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Poland and Vietnam and the Czech Republic. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to organize the Vietnam Cultural Week in Poland and the Czech Republic to enhance cultural cooperation between the countries, especially when Vietnam and the Czech Republic have just upgraded their relationship to a strategic partnership during the official visit of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
