Lam Dong Spring Newspaper Festival introduces more than 120 Spring newspaper and magazine publications

With the message "Digital era journalism, Lam Dong journalists are professional - humane - modern", the Lam Dong Spring Newspaper Festival 2024 displayed and introduced more than 120 types of Spring newspapers and magazines and 155 different books, gathering nearly 1,000 copies of Spring newspaper publications from Central press agencies, industry and local newspapers and magazines across the country along with Spring newspaper works from Lam Dong province.

In particular, Lam Dong Provincial Library has coordinated with libraries nationwide to digitize nearly 250 Spring publications, serving online readers nationwide. This is a new activity, reflecting creativity and application in organizing the Spring Newspaper Festival in the digital age.

The Giap Thin Spring Press Fair 2024 has a special significance, marking the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), the 76th anniversary of the birth of the first revolutionary newspaper of Lam Dong province (February 3, 1948 - February 3, 2024). This is also the opening event for a series of activities to celebrate the 99th anniversary, leading up to the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21) and many other important events.

The 2024 Spring Newspaper Festival is also a festival for journalists, where they have the opportunity to interact and meet readers, radio listeners and TV viewers through spring publications and dedicated Tet newspaper works.

The Lam Dong Spring Press Festival 2024 is an opportunity to honor the contributions of journalists and authors, while encouraging the development of local journalism and culture. This event contributes to promoting the building of professional, humane and modern journalism, meeting the increasing information needs of society.
