Regular talks between the Management Board of Dong Dang-Lang Son Economic Zone and Ninh Minh district, Guangxi, China

On September 3, 2025, the delegation of the Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board held a regular meeting with the delegation of the People's Government of Ninh Minh district (China) in Luong Van Tri ward, Lang Son province to strengthen and promote cooperation in developing the Chi Ma (Vietnam) - Ai Diem (China) border gate pair.

The delegation of the Dong Dang- Lang Son Economic Zone Management Board led by Mr. Hoang Khanh Duy, Deputy Head of the Board, also attended by representatives of the leaders of the Departments: Industry and Trade, Construction, Foreign Affairs, Border Guard Command, Customs Branch VI, Border Gate Management Center, representatives of a number of enterprises operating in the field of import and export at the Chi Ma - Ai Diem border gate pair. The delegation of the People's Government of Ninh Minh district led by Mr. Trinh Sang Nghiep, Deputy Head of Ninh Minh district.

At the meeting, the two sides informed each other about the results of import and export activities in the first 8 months of 2025 at the Chi Ma - Ai Diem border gate pair; discussed the contents of creating more favorable conditions for customs clearance activities through the Chi Ma - Ai Diem border gate pair regarding customs clearance time during the day, the plan to regulate vehicles carrying goods in and out, the progress of investment in wharf infrastructure at Ai Diem border gate... The two sides also exchanged and informed each other about the planning orientation for the development of the border gate area in the coming time and the implementation of the issuance of Certificates of Origin of goods. The two sides agreed to promote the implementation of the common perceptions reached by the leaders of the two Provinces - Regions at the 2025 Spring Meeting Program and promote the early completion of internal procedures, reporting to the competent authorities of the two sides to approve the upgrading of the Chi Ma - Ai Diem bilateral border gate pair into an international border gate in the coming time.
