The 20th Conference of the Party Executive Committee of Dien Bien District

District Party Secretary Cao Thi Tuyet Lan chaired the meeting.

In the first 3 months of 2024, Dien Bien district planted 5,118 hectares of agricultural crops, reaching 35% of the yearly plan; the value of industrial and handicraft production reached 512 billion VND, reaching 26% of the plan. Total retail sales of goods and services reached 1,091 billion VND, reaching 27% of the plan; budget revenue in the area reached 26 billion VND, reaching 30% of the yearly plan. The new rural construction program has received attention and direction from the district. Up to now, the whole district has had 18/21 communes meeting and basically meeting the new rural standards, of which 3 communes have basically met the advanced new rural standards; 82/275 villages have met the model new rural standards. The fields of health, education, vocational training, and job creation for rural workers have received attention; security and order have been maintained and stabilized. Party building, inspection and supervision work within the Party are carried out seriously, thereby contributing to improving the fighting strength and leadership capacity of Party organizations.

The conference discussed and approved solutions for socio -economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the second quarter of 2024; at the same time reviewed the results of Party financial management and use in 2023; the results of handling the work of the District Party Committee Standing Committee between the two meetings of the District Party Committee Executive Committee and deployed a number of other important contents.
