The draft consists of 5 articles, specifically regulating the scope of regulation, applicable subjects; bonus levels for coaches and athletes of the province who achieve achievements in national sports competitions; award levels for athletes who achieve achievements in provincial sports competitions; implementation costs; implementation organization.
Accordingly, coaches and athletes of the province who achieve achievements at the National Sports Festival or National Championship will be awarded a maximum of 8 million VND for a Gold Medal, 6.5 million VND for a Silver Medal and 5.5 million VND for a Bronze Medal. If they break a record, the athlete will be awarded an additional 5.5 million VND.
Youth, regional or mass sports competitions have a maximum bonus equal to 80% of the national prize. Coaches who directly train athletes or teams that achieve results will also receive a corresponding bonus, calculated according to the number of athletes participating in the competition.
For provincial-level sports competitions, individual awards range from 1.1 to 1.6 million VND. Team awards in the Phu Dong Sports Festival and the provincial-level Sports Festival are awarded from 11 to 20 million VND. At the commune level, the award does not exceed 80% of the provincial level.
At the conference, there were 7 comments that basically agreed with the draft content, and at the same time suggested clarifying some contents in accordance with regulations and adjusting terminology to contribute to concretization, easier understanding, and more detail. Some comments also proposed adjusting the bonus level flexibly to suit the practical situation and the characteristics of each sport.
The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee will fully synthesize comments and feedback and forward them to the agency drafting the draft Resolution.
