According to Professor Nguyen The Toan (Vietnam National University, Hanoi ; Head of the Organizing Committee ), this is the 3rd international scientific conference on nanolife held in Vietnam (the previous two were in 2023 and 2024).
This year, the conference was honored to welcome many leading scholars from around the world , such as Professor Curtis Callan (Princeton University, USA), Professor Anthony Watts (Oxford University, UK), etc. The scientists focused on exchanging and analyzing opportunities and challenges in research and application.
In Vietnam, numerous research programs in nano-life sciences are underway, focusing on nanomedicine, molecular biology nanosystems, and biosensors. Modern techniques such as FRET, FLIM, AFM, Cryo-EM, TEM, SEM, along with advanced optical microscopy methods (TIRFM, Confocal, STED, PALM, STORM), are widely applied.
In addition, the fields of computing and artificial intelligence, especially deep learning, are also being promoted with molecular dynamics simulations, NMA analysis, and modern tools...

At the conference, presentations were delivered in a way that combined teaching with the publication of the latest research findings, suitable for the postgraduate advanced program. The event featured 100 posters and short papers from domestic and international scientific societies.
The workshop provides a forum for delegates to share experiences, discuss new trends, and expand international cooperation, thereby contributing to affirming Vietnam's position in nano-life science research on the global map.

At the workshop, Ms. Vo Cao Thi Mong Hoai, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Gia Lai province, affirmed that this is an important forum for scientists to interact, exchange academic knowledge, expand research cooperation, and share knowledge.
This year, the event is particularly significant as it marks the official launch of the Vietnam Biophysics Society, signifying an important step in building an interdisciplinary scientific community and opening up many opportunities for international cooperation, contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnamese science.
Launching the Vietnam Biophysics Association
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee announced the launch of the Vietnam Biophysics Society, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Huy (Phenikaa University), headquartered at ICISE.
Despite being newly established, the Vietnam Biophysics Association has been accepted into the International Union of Pure and Applied Biophysics – IUPAB (based in Switzerland).

This is considered a significant step in building an interdisciplinary scientific community in physics and biology in Vietnam, opening up opportunities for collaborative research and training both domestically and internationally.
