More than 12 billion VND invested in renovating Huyen Quang street

BAC NINH - Kinh Bac Construction Project Management Board (Civil and Urban Development Project Management Board of Bac Ninh Province No. 2) has just started the renovation of Huyen Quang Street, from Nguyen Cao Street to Nguyen Quyen Street) in Kinh Bac Ward and Vo Cuong Ward.

The above route is more than 1.3km long and is being constructed by Thanh Tung Limited Liability Company. The total investment cost is more than 12 billion VND from the state budget. According to the design, based on the current status of the old route, the old median strip with trees will be removed to upgrade and expand the road surface, lighting system, and traffic reorganization to ensure safety for people and vehicles participating in traffic.

Specifically, the road was dismantled and equipment on the median strip was moved; the existing median strip with an average width of 5m was demolished. The roadbed was re-plowed with a layer of black sand, compacted with 30cm thick K95 soil, poured with 5cm thick asphalt concrete and watered with adhesive asphalt.

In addition to the above items, the project also invests in a traffic safety system: Road marking paint, reflective studs, danger signs, etc.

The project is expected to be completed in January 2026, contributing to the completion of urban traffic infrastructure, creating space for vehicles to participate in traffic safely, reducing traffic congestion, and promoting socio -economic development in the area.
