Professional training for staff and reporters of local press agencies

BAC NINH - On the morning of November 13, at Muong Thanh Hotel (Bac Giang ward, Bac Ninh province), the Ethnic Language Television Department - Vietnam Television opened a professional training course for reporters, editors, and technicians of local press agencies.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Trung Hien, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Bac Ninh Newspaper and Radio and Television; Nguyen Van Hop, Head of Ethnic Language Television Department (Vietnam Television) and representatives of professional units.

Speaking here, comrade Nguyen Van Hop emphasized: The training course is within the framework of the Project "Enhancing the capacity to produce ethnic language television programs". Through it, trainees will acquire knowledge, improve professional skills, update modern production technology, and meet propaganda requirements in the digital transformation period.

From November 12 to 16, more than 40 students from local Newspaper, Radio and Television agencies across the country were instructed by experts and journalists from Vietnam Television, Ho Chi Minh City Television... on many specialized contents such as: Television editing skills, application of motion graphics and artificial intelligence (AI) in program production.

Comrade Nguyen Van Hop spoke.

Students practice techniques such as: Anti-shake, refocusing videos , creating transition effects, designing motion graphics, creating animated text...; and applying artificial intelligence (AI) in program development to reduce noise, separate music, create images and videos from text or still images.

In particular, experts and journalists provided information on crisis identification, handling processes and principles; copyright in program production...

Journalist Nguyen Ha Nam, former Head of Editorial Secretariat, Vietnam Television, taught at the training class.

The training program helps reporters, editors, and television technicians improve their knowledge and practice their professional skills; at the same time, they exchange and share experiences in handling work, contributing to building a team of professional journalists, meeting the requirements of innovation and development of the press in the coming time.
