More than 5,700 students participated in the 6th grade entrance assessment at Nguyen Tat Thanh School.

NDO - On the morning of May 31, the 6th grade Competency Assessment Exam for the 2025-2026 school year at Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School took place, attracting the participation of a large number of students. This year, with 320 enrollment targets, 5,709 candidates registered to take the exam to enter the school.

With the number of candidates registering for the exam many times higher than the enrollment quota, Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School, Hanoi National University of Education, organized the Competency Assessment exam for grade 6 in the 2025-2026 school year to select students with suitable abilities and qualities.

The school said that this year, the exam attracted 5,709 candidates to register, while the enrollment target was 320 students.

Nguyen Tat Thanh School has closely coordinated with units of Hanoi National University of Education, arranging 163 examination rooms at 5 examination locations: Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School: 50 examination rooms; D1-D2-D4 buildings: 42 examination rooms; D2-D3 buildings: 18 examination rooms; C building: 31 examination rooms; K1 building: 22 examination rooms.

The Competency Assessment Test includes: Vietnamese (45 minutes), English (30 minutes) and Math (45 minutes). The test closely follows the 5th grade curriculum according to the 2018 generaleducation program. The test format combines objective and essay questions, aiming to assess students' comprehensive abilities from basic knowledge to thinking and reasoning ability.

In addition to the results of the 3 exams, candidates can receive bonus points if they achieve outstanding achievements in the 2024-2025 school year such as obtaining a valid TOEFL Primary certificate with a high score, winning prizes in city-level exams (Youth Informatics, English Olympic...).
