As of the end of July 30, when the online registration portal was closed, the general admission support system of the Ministry of Education and Training recorded a total of more than 733,000 candidates who had entered their university admission wishes, equivalent to 68.5% of the number of candidates registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam.
Thus, the number of candidates applying for university admission in 2024 increased compared to previous years.
Previously, in 2023, more than 660,000 candidates entered their admission wishes on the system, equivalent to 65.9% of the number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam in 2023; in 2022, more than 616,000 candidates registered for university admission, accounting for 64.1% of the number of candidates registering for the high school graduation exam in 2022.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training , the registration system has been operating stably in recent days. Departments of Education and Training and schools have also implemented many forms of support and guidance for candidates to register in accordance with regulations and ensure progress.
Starting from tomorrow (July 31) until 5:00 p.m. on August 6, candidates registering their university admission wishes on the system must pay the fee online. The admission fee for each wish is 20,000 VND.
