This afternoon, September 19th, the Organizing Committee of the online contest to learn about the work "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negative phenomena, contributing to building a cleaner and stronger Party and State" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong held a meeting to implement the contents related to the contest. The meeting was chaired by Ho Dai Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee.

According to Plan No. 165 dated August 9, 2024, of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, the purpose of the competition is to promote propaganda to help cadres, Party members, and the general public fully and deeply understand the core contents of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's works; to raise awareness and promote the role, responsibility, and determination of the leaders of Party committees and organizations at all levels, cadres, Party members, and the general public in the fight against corruption and negative phenomena, and to combat all manifestations of ideological, political , moral, and lifestyle degradation, "self-evolution," and "self-transformation" within the Party, and to build a clean and strong Party.

Furthermore, it is important to promote the pioneering and exemplary role of cadres and Party members, and apply the theoretical and practical issues discussed in the work to the fight against corruption and negative practices in agencies, units, and enterprises.

The contestants include cadres, Party members, civil servants, public employees, workers, soldiers of the armed forces, members of political and social organizations, and people from all walks of life living, studying, and working in the province and other localities.

The research material and documents are the work "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State to be increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, published by the National Political Publishing House.

The competition is conducted online. Participants access the online competition website designated by the organizers and answer randomly selected multiple-choice questions based on the competition content. Each week's competition consists of 21 questions: 20 multiple-choice questions related to the competition content, randomly selected from the organizers' question bank, and one question predicting the number of people who will answer all 20 multiple-choice questions correctly.

The competition launch ceremony is scheduled for September 30, 2024, and the competition is expected to run for four weeks, from October 1 to October 28, 2024. Winning teams and individuals will receive certificates from the competition organizers. The results will be announced after the end of each week and will be posted on the Provincial Party Committee's electronic portal, the online competition system, and the " Quang Tri Propaganda" fanpage.

At the meeting, after hearing reports from members of the working group on the drafting of the competition regulations, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Ho Dai Nam, requested the working group to closely follow Plan No. 165 dated August 9, 2024, of the Provincial Party Committee and continue to research and clarify the purpose and requirements of the competition to finalize the set of questions and answers so that they are comprehensive, complete, and accurate in their coverage of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's work, ensuring the competition achieves the best possible results.
