Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Congress of socio-political organizations to deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2024

On July 5, the Steering Committee of the Provincial Congress of Socio -political Organizations held a conference to evaluate the results of directing the implementation of tasks in the first 6 months of the year and deploy a number of key tasks in the last 6 months of 2024. Comrade Thao Hong Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the conference. Attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Party Building Committees; leaders of the province's socio-political organizations .

Conference Scene

In the first 6 months of 2024, the Provincial Steering Committee focused on directing the implementation of key tasks according to the Operating Regulations and the 2024 Work Plan. The members of the Steering Committee and the Standing Office have done a good job of advising the Provincial Steering Committee and have been proactive in issuing documents requesting district and city Party Committees to pay attention to leading and directing the successful organization of the District-level Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024-2029 term. By the end of April 30, 2024, 193/193 communes, wards and towns in the province had completed the organization of the Commune-level Fatherland Front Congress. By June 30, 2024, 11/11 districts and cities had completed the organization of the District-level Fatherland Front Congress. Regarding the preparation for the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Ha Giang province: Up to now, the Congress Steering Committee of the provincial Fatherland Front and sub-committees serving the Congress have been established. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has collected opinions in two rounds on the documents of the 10th National Congress and the draft Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, amended and supplemented. Emulation movements to welcome the Congress at all levels have been launched and widely implemented; propaganda work about the Congress has been deployed in a diverse and appropriate manner, attracting the attention of all classes of people. The provincial level has deployed the construction of 17 "Great Unity Houses" worth 700 million VND. The district and commune levels have launched emulation movements and supported the construction of "Great Unity Houses" for poor households, mobilizing people to repair rural roads, clean and decorate village roads and alleys with a total of 131 works.

Step up propaganda work before, during and after the Congress to raise awareness and responsibility of Party committees, authorities and people of all walks of life about the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in building the great national unity bloc; complete documents and reports to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Direct the Fatherland Front at all levels to continue to do a good job of propaganda and mobilization of people to be determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.
