Of which, 521 non-agricultural and agricultural cooperatives are actually operating. The number of effectively operating cooperatives accounts for about 60%, concentrated in the fields of agriculture, small-scale industry, trade and services. 3 cooperative unions were established and maintained stable operations. The average revenue of cooperatives is estimated at 2.2 billion VND/cooperative/year, an increase of 57.14% compared to the results in 2020; the average profit of cooperatives is estimated at 315 million VND/cooperative/year; the average income of regular workers in cooperatives is estimated at 55.28 million VND/person/year.
Agricultural cooperatives account for a high proportion and develop in the direction of linking value chains with enterprises, contributing to increasing the value of local agricultural products. The districts of Trung Khanh, Hoa An, Quang Hoa... have a rapidly growing number of cooperatives, associated with specialty products such as: dong vermicelli, Tra Linh tangerine, Doong Leng tea, Mong beef... The province has synchronously implemented many policies to support cooperatives such as: supporting funding for training and coaching cooperative staff; creating conditions for access to preferential loans from the Cooperative Development Fund, the Bank for Social Policies; supporting trade promotion, branding and digital technology application with a total support budget in the period of 2021 - 2025 of up to 35.3 billion VND.
The province aims to have at least 600 cooperatives in operation by the end of 2025, of which over 50% will be linked to the value chain, making an important contribution to promoting agricultural development, building new rural areas and creating jobs for workers.
