According to the Hue City Hydrometeorological Station, in the past 24 hours, Hue has had very heavy rain with total rainfall from 3:00 p.m. on October 25 to 3:00 p.m. on October 26 generally being 100-200 mm. It is forecasted that in the next 24-48 hours (from 4:00 p.m. on October 26 to 4:00 p.m. on October 28), the area will continue to have heavy to very heavy rain, with total rainfall ranging from 250-500 mm, with some places exceeding 700 mm.
Specifically, the communes/wards of Phong Dinh, Phong Phu, Dan Dien, Quang Dien, Hoa Chau, Duong No, Kim Long, Thuy Xuan, Phu Ho, Phu Vinh, Vinh Loc, Binh Dien... have rainfall of 250-400mm; mountainous areas of A Luoi 1-5, Nam Dong, Khe Tre, Chan May - Lang Co, Phu Loc have places over 600-700mm.
The warning level for natural disaster risk due to heavy rain is at level 1-2. Heavy rain can cause flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, deep flooding in low-lying areas and widespread urban flooding if rainfall is heavy, above 70mm/hour. Local authorities advise people to limit going out during heavy rain, closely monitor forecast information and follow instructions from authorities to ensure safety.
