Tran Bui Bao Khanh's journey to conquer the Olympia 2025 laurel wreath

Continuously pursuing the drama, Tran Bui Bao Khanh, despite being deducted 15 points at the last minute, still excellently won the laurel wreath of Road to Olympia 2025.

On the morning of October 26, the final match of the Road to Olympia 2025 took place with the competition of 4 climbers: Le Quang Duy Khoa (Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue), Nguyen Nhat Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap province), Doan Thanh Tung (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Khanh Hoa) and Tran Bui Bao Khanh ( Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi).

4 contestants appeared with confidence, ready for the journey to conquer the glorious laurel wreath.

Bao Khanh was the last contestant to enter the final round of the Road to Olympia 2025 after a convincing victory (270 points) in the Quarter IV competition. This victory was even more impressive when Khanh had to overcome a fierce Quarter competition with 5 contestants (instead of the usual 4, due to an incident in the Monthly competition), proving his mettle and constant efforts.

Before entering the Warm-up round, Bao Khanh became more confident with the encouragement of teachers and friends from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, where she is studying.

Following closely behind his opponent for 2 stages, it was not until the Finish Line round that Bao Khanh boldly chose the 20-30-20 point question package that he answered correctly and took the lead.

His total score continuously increased from 195-225-245 when Bao Khanh answered all 3 questions correctly. The fans burst into celebration when the contestant finished the competition.

Despite being the last contestant to reach the finish line, in the final question of Nhut Lam, Bao Khanh decisively pressed the bell to gain the right to answer when his opponent gave an incorrect answer. This tactical bell-pressing, although causing Bao Khanh to lose 15 points (due to an incorrect answer), still ensured that he maintained his leading position with 215 points, and became the champion of Road to Olympia 2025.

At the end of the final round, Bao Khanh led the climbing team with a total score of 215.

Bao Khanh's score was only 5 points higher than the second place winner Thanh Tung (Thanh Tung got a total of 210).

With the highest total score of 215 points, Bao Khanh was crowned Champion of the 25th Road to Olympia. Doan Thanh Tung finished in second place, only 5 points behind the leader (210 points). The two remaining contestants were Nguyen Nhut Lam with 205 points and Le Quang Duy Khoa with 180 points.

"I feel very happy and wonderful. This victory is not only for me personally but also for my relatives and friends who have loved and accompanied me throughout the journey," champion Bao Khanh shared after his mountain climbing journey.
