On the afternoon of December 11th, Tra Vinh University (Vinh Long province) held a ceremony to announce and present appointment decisions for the title of Associate Professor in 2025 to 5 individuals who were recognized by the State Council of Professors as meeting the standards.
The newly appointed Associate Professors include: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Nam, Vice Rector of the Southern Khmer Language, Culture and Arts and Humanities School, who meets the standards for Associate Professor in Linguistics; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Ngoc Tai, Head of the Faculty of Foreign Languages ( thuộc the Southern Khmer Language, Culture and Arts and Humanities School), who meets the standards for Associate Professor in Educational Sciences.
The three newly appointed Associate Professors of Medicine are doctors currently teaching and conducting scientific research at Tra Vinh University, including: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nam (Ho Chi Minh City Eye Hospital); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Ngoc Thach (Children's Hospital 2, Ho Chi Minh City); and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Van (Thanh Van Aesthetic Hospital).

The addition of 5 Associate Professors in 2025 further affirms Tra Vinh University's commitment to developing a highly qualified faculty, contributing to improving the quality of training, scientific research, and academic prestige of the university.

This is considered an important foundation that helps the university's students have the opportunity to participate in international exchange and internship programs, while also enhancing their competitiveness when entering the domestic and international labor markets.
