On the afternoon of July 29th, the Department of Science and Technology of Hue City held a ceremony to announce the model route for deploying environmentally friendly integrated BTS stations in the area.

By 2025, Hue city will have deployed approximately 50 BTS stations, concentrated in the central area and tourist destinations such as: attractions within the Hue Imperial Citadel Complex, tourist routes, and areas along the Perfume River.
In particular, Le Loi Street along the southern bank of the Perfume River has become a model street with 100% of its BTS stations designed uniformly as lampposts that harmonize with the urban architecture.
In addition to providing 4G and 5G coverage, these stations also integrate modern amenities: lighting systems, 360-degree security cameras, and free Wi-Fi for residents and tourists.
Hue City is orienting its telecommunications development towards protecting the landscape, public health, and promoting sustainable tourism.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee, the model of environmentally friendly integrated BTS stations installed on main streets and tourist spots effectively meets the needs of the people and contributes to the overall development of the city.
In the coming period, the locality aims to expand and improve the integrated environmentally friendly BTS station system to approximately 250 to 300 stations. Simultaneously, this model will be expanded to roads in Thuan Hoa, Phu Xuan, Vy Da, Kim Long, An Cuu wards, etc.; in the central areas of wards/communes, historical sites, tourist areas, etc.
This will contribute to achieving 100% 5G coverage in Hue City, making it easier for residents and tourists to access information and promoting tourism and socio -economic development in the locality.
On this occasion, the relevant units also signed a commitment to implement the targets for digital infrastructure development according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo, aiming to complete the targets for digital infrastructure development in Hue City.
