At the conference, delegates discussed and agreed on two issues: "Agreement on the structure, composition, and number of candidates nominated for the 16th National Assembly " and "Agreement on the structure, composition, and number of candidates nominated for the 9th City People's Council, term 2026-2031".
The delegates unanimously voted to nominate 9 delegates to the 16th National Assembly and 94 delegates to the 9th Hue City People's Council.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, emphasized that this conference is of great importance in the election process to agree on the structure, composition, and number of candidates nominated by agencies, organizations, and units for the 16th National Assembly and the 9th Hue City People's Council, for the 2026-2031 term.
Accurately determining the structure and allocation of positions for each component is fundamental to reviewing and selecting candidates for the National Assembly and the City People's Council for the 2026-2031 term, ensuring adherence to the leadership and guidance of the Central Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.
According to regulations, to ensure democracy and the selection of the right representative members, the consultative conference will be held three times: the first conference at all levels will be held from December 1-10, 2025; the second from February 2-3, 2026; and the third from February 9-20, 2026.
