Towards green architecture in urban areas

The Association of Architects received congratulatory flowers from the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations.

At the conference, Tay Ninh Architects Association awarded decisions to admit new members to 5 architects.

Delegates attending the workshop listened to presentations such as: Tay Ninh Province Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, vision to 2050 and national strategy on green growth; proposed solutions for the Master Plan of green urban landscape architecture, green architecture trends for public works and housing; upgrading life with Smart Home solutions.

According to the Association of Architects, by 2030, the province will have 1 type II urban area, 3 type III urban areas, 5 type IV urban areas and 7 new type V urban areas, of which Tay Ninh city meets the standards of a type II urban area and will continue to strive to invest in construction to basically meet the criteria of a type I urban area. The provincial planning also identifies a plan to organize socio -economic activities according to "3 development zones, 4 dynamic axes, 1 social security belt".

According to Master of Architecture Le Duy Phuong, currently, the preparation of planning drawings and their practical application in some places and at some times does not really pay attention to local cultural identity, but only follows superficial aspects; for example, building many industrial parks, new urban areas, entertainment areas, etc.

Some urban areas currently lack infrastructure, lose urban landscape... causing negative impacts on the living environment, especially in urban areas, due to urban infrastructure overload, unsafe social security, traffic congestion, environmental pollution, lack of jobs...

Mr. Le Duy Phuong proposed that the province integrate specific goals and targets on green growth urban development and climate change response into the adjustment of the urban master plan approved before 2025 and newly approved urban master plans.

In addition, research, supplement, and complete synchronously the policy mechanisms, legal regulations on green growth urban development; research and implement smart urban development. Select 1 urban area in the province to pilot the construction of a green growth urban area, creating a culture of "green living" in each citizen.

In the Tay Ninh Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, the province has clearly stated its viewpoint on building a "green Tay Ninh", in which the green factor is both the goal and the means of development of the province.

Mr. Trinh Ngoc Phuong - Chairman of the Association of Architects said that the national strategic goal on green growth for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, is to reduce the intensity of greenhouse gas emissions per GDP; greening economic sectors; greening lifestyles and promoting sustainable consumption; greening the transition process on the principles of equality, inclusion, and enhancing resilience.

According to Mr. Trinh Ngoc Phuong, to achieve the above goals, the province will promote economic restructuring, improve labor productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the economy. Shift the economic structure and labor structure towards industrialization and modernization; exploit and use resources effectively and sustainably; focus on developing the processing and manufacturing industry associated with smart, environmentally friendly technology, low emissions, energy saving, land and labor saving; strongly and effectively exploit tourism potential and advantages; focus on product development, building a unique tourism brand, turning Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area into a high-class tourist area of ​​the region and the whole country; develop agriculture towards high-tech agriculture and clean agriculture.
