Concluding the working session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of the Department of Tourism (head of the working delegation) requested the People's Committee of Cam Lam district and Cam Ranh city to focus on implementing the Plan of the Steering Committee for Tourism Development of Khanh Hoa province to implement Resolution No. 09 of the Politburo; requested localities to focus on developing high-class, high-quality, diverse, and competitive resort and entertainment tourism products to promote the potential and strengths of the locality; develop an Action Program, a Plan to implement the Resolution for the tourism sector associated with solutions and tasks with a roadmap and time to complete specific products... At the same time, Ms. Thanh requested the People's Committee of Cam Lam district and Cam Ranh city to base on the approval of the planning and land use plan, the tourism development goals of the locality, to study and coordinate with departments and branches to organize a Conference to call for investment promotion to develop diverse and rich tourism products to promote the strengths of the locality and region.
Regarding the implementation of Resolution No. 06 of the Provincial People's Council on regulations on a number of contents and expenditure levels to support the development of community tourism in the province, the leaders of the Department of Tourism requested localities to urgently review and select locations and models with potential for community tourism development, ensuring requirements on legal basis and quality of services for tourists and support funds under their management, and send them to the Department of Tourism before March 20, 2024 as a basis for assessment and appraisal; have a plan to invest in facilities and services at recognized community tourism sites to improve the quality of destinations and serve visitors; guide organizations and individuals supported to develop community tourism to properly implement the criteria and regulations of community tourism; Strengthening the promotion of OCOP products to increase income, contributing to the completion of new rural construction, diversifying products to serve tourists coming to the locality associated with the development of community tourism...
