Legend Efren Reyes defeated Do Khai in the exhibition match of Hanoi Open Pool

The Hanoi Open Pool Championship 2023 organizers held an exhibition match between Efren Reyes and Do Khai before the final match. Thousands of spectators at the My Dinh Sports and Athletics Palace witnessed the interesting shots of the two players.

Efren Reyen is a monument of the world billiards village. He prefers a risky, spontaneous and artistic style of play.

Among his impressive list of achievements, Efren Reyes is a four-time 8-ball world champion, a 1999 9-ball world champion, a three-time US Open champion, a two-time World Pool League champion and a 14-time Derby City Classic champion.

Meanwhile, Do Khai is a player who is well known on social networks in Vietnam. Fans are impressed by Do Khai's dedicated cues and emotional actions after each situation. Do Khai participated in the first round of the 2023 National Billiards & Snooker Championship. This player is nicknamed "Long-haired Khai".

The audience cheered enthusiastically at the exhibition match between Efren Reyes and Do Khai.

Efren Reyes easily took a 3-0 lead thanks to his superior class. However, with the nature of an exhibition match, the Filipino legend often performed adventurous situations, bringing excitement to the audience. Do Khai won 4 games before Efren Reyes reached 7.

The Hanoi Open Pool Championship 2023 is part of the official competition system of the World Nineball Tour along with the US Open, UK Open, European Open, and Spanish Open.

The tournament took place from October 10 to 15 at My Dinh Sports Palace, Hanoi , bringing together the world's top players such as Shane Van Boening, Jason Shaw, Fedor Gorsrt, Ko Ping Chung... The final match was a competition between Jason Shaw and Albin Ouschan.

The total prize pool is $200,000, with the champion taking home $30,000.
