Ea Kar District Party Committee: Mid-term review of the implementation of the Resolution of the 9th District Party Congress, term 2020

During the past half term, with the spirit of solidarity and high determination, the Ea Kar District Party Committee has made efforts to overcome difficulties and promote local advantages to implement goals and tasks and achieve many positive results.

The total production value in the 2021-2023 period reached 37,654 billion VND (54.44% of the Resolution), of which the value of agricultural - forestry - fishery production reached nearly 18,376 billion VND. The total state budget revenue in the area in 3 years reached more than 518 billion VND. The economy grew quite well, the economic structure shifted towards gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture and increasing the proportion of industry.

The average production value per capita (at current prices) by 2023 is estimated to reach nearly 156.5 million VND/person/year. The work of job creation and social security assurance has been actively implemented. The National Target Program on New Rural Development has been focused on and achieved many important results. Up to now, the whole district has achieved 235 criteria and 6 communes have met the new rural standards.

Cultural, informational, physical training and sports activities are maintained and organized regularly, meeting the needs of the people. The national defense, security and social order and safety situation are maintained and stable. Party building work has many positive changes; the activities of the Front Committee and mass organizations from the district to the grassroots have closely followed the political tasks of the locality, innovated in content and methods of operation in a practical and effective direction.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on solutions to effectively implement targets and tasks and voted to adjust the content of some targets of the Resolution of the 9th District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Y Bier Nie praised and highly appreciated the achievements of the District Party Committee in the past half term. He also frankly pointed out the shortcomings and limitations in implementing the Resolution of the District Party Congress in the first half of the 2020-2025 term.

To successfully complete the set targets and tasks, comrade Y Bier suggested that the Ea Kar District Party Committee should review the unachieved criteria and then propose solutions for better implementation in the remaining half of the term, such as: focusing on planning work, ensuring the criteria for a type IV urban area; implementing the construction of a new administrative center of the district; developing industrial cluster infrastructure; reviewing staff planning to meet task requirements; continuing to effectively implement major programs and projects in the area such as the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway project, the upper Krong Pach reservoir; improving the effectiveness of administrative procedure reform; focusing on the work of building new rural areas, reducing poverty in a substantial and effective manner...
