Global cybersecurity company Kaspersky and the Government Cipher Committee (VGISC) - Vietnam's national cryptographic agency - have recently extended the Cooperation Agreement signed in 2018 to expand existing cooperation to continue strengthening national cybersecurity capacity.
The 2018 renewal of the Cooperation Agreement will strengthen the strategic alliance and include cooperation in the areas of technology transfer, knowledge sharing, expert support, technical exchange and capacity building to enhance Vietnam's cyberspace protection.
“We are delighted to be working with a like-minded partner like VGISC to contribute to the development of the country’s growing computer security infrastructure and systems,” said Eugene Kaspersky, CEO of Kaspersky. “Our long-standing partnership has allowed us to better understand each other’s needs and develop better solutions to protect networks in Vietnam.”
Based on the general agreement in the 2018 Cooperation Agreement extension, the two sides will continue to develop the relationship and open up new areas of cooperation in the future.
