Nine organizations, businesses, and vocational training centers participated in the job fair, offering over 8,000 job openings across various sectors, including skilled technical workers, unskilled laborers, and workers in processing, manufacturing, textiles, and footwear.
Besides introducing domestic job opportunities, the program also advises and supports workers in going to work abroad under contract in many markets such as Europe, Japan, South Korea, Laos, and some other potential markets, opening up more suitable job opportunities and stable income.
According to Ms. Do Thi Ha, Deputy Director of the Da Nang City Employment Service Center, there are currently about 111 domestic businesses seeking to recruit more than 13,000 jobs, mainly for technical workers, unskilled laborers, processing and manufacturing workers, and those in the textile, garment, and footwear industries. The age range for recruitment is 18-40 years old; unskilled workers will be trained and placed in salaried jobs by the businesses.
For the overseas labor market, recruitment programs focus on South Korea and Japan through EPS and IM Japan programs, with various support policies creating opportunities for workers to access stable jobs, increase income, and improve their living standards.
