A few months ago, Marcelo and Andranna (from Brazil) decided to give up their stable jobs in their home country to start a digital nomad life.
The couple wanted to seek out and explore new cultures and pursue their passion for international travel .
Recently, they came to Vietnam and chose Hanoi as a stopover, prioritizing time to enjoy street food with many attractive dishes.

On the first breakfast when they arrived in Hanoi, Marcelo was wondering whether to eat traditional bread or try the strange fried noodles that looked quite similar to the Japanese ramen they had eaten.
These are two popular dishes in the capital, loved by both locals and foreign tourists. Andranna suggested eating noodles to warm their stomachs, so the couple decided to go to a restaurant near them.
The restaurant is located near the beginning of Gia Ngu Street (Hoan Kiem Ward) - a location considered the center of the old town, near Hang Be market, specializing in serving beef dishes such as pho, fried noodles, fried rice...

Marcelo revealed that the reason for choosing to dine here was because the restaurant received many positive reviews on Google. In fact, when the two guests arrived, the place was almost full. Here, Marcelo and Andranna ordered 2 portions of beef fried noodles, priced at 60,000 VND/portion.
The couple was quite surprised, thinking that the food was reasonably priced despite the restaurant being in a prime location. Not to mention, the portion was generous, and the aroma of the fried noodles was very appealing.

Marcelo revealed that although he did not know what kind of vegetable was stir-fried with the noodles, he really liked the taste. When he enjoyed it, he felt that the noodles had a chewy texture, combined with the soft, flavorful stir-fried beef, which was quite appealing.
The Brazilian tourist also admitted that he had never eaten a similar noodle dish in his home country, so using chopsticks and enjoying the dish was a bit difficult.

Andranna could not hide her joy and excitement at the golden noodles, pink beef and green vegetables.
“This was the first dish we tried when we arrived in Hanoi so we were a bit worried, not knowing what the taste would be like.
But after tasting it, I found this noodle dish really delicious. I really liked it and felt happy to enjoy it,” the female tourist said.

Impressed by the taste of the familiar dish of Hanoi people, 2 foreign tourists enjoyed the whole portion of fried noodles. Throughout the meal, they also continuously exclaimed, nodded, showing their satisfaction and enjoyment.
When leaving the restaurant and moving back to their accommodation, Andranna also shared that the simple breakfast experience with beef stir-fried noodles was one of the couple's first impressions on their journey to explore Hanoi.
