Opening of tourism training course according to VTOS standards

On the morning of April 23, at the Ministry of Construction Hotel (Sam Son City), the Tourism Training and Promotion Center (Thanh Hoa Province Tourism Association) in collaboration with the Tourism Consulting - Training - Service - Promotion Center (Vietnam Tourism Association) opened a tourism training course for staff and workers serving at tourism service establishments in Thanh Hoa.

The training program aims to improve the professional qualifications and skills of staff and workers at restaurants and accommodation establishments in the province according to VTOS standards ( tourism , hotel and restaurant occupational skills standards). The training course has the participation of nearly 100 trainees who are staff and workers serving at accommodation and restaurant service establishments in the province.

MSc. Tran Thi Phuong Thao, expert of Vietnam Tourism Association, presented the topic in class.

This tourism training course will focus on a number of topics including: Building a professional image, customer service and care attitude, communication skills - reception; restaurant services; room service. In each topic, students will be guided by lecturers from the Vietnam Tourism Association to practice and write a report.

At the end of the training course, qualified students will be awarded a certificate by the Vietnam Tourism Association.

As planned, the tourism training program will end on April 25.
