Hoa Hao Buddhist College opens first course

On the morning of October 21, Hoa Hao Buddhist College held the Opening Ceremony of the first course, school year 2025 - 2027. Attending the ceremony were: Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province Danh Phuc; Vice Chairman of Phu Tan Commune People's Committee Tran Hien Nhan and many lecturers and students of the school.

Delegates attended the opening ceremony of the first course of Hoa Hao Buddhist College.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of An Giang province Danh Phuc said that the opening ceremony of the first course is an activity that contributes to the belief of Hoa Hao Buddhists and followers in the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on religion; peace of mind in religious activities, and compliance with the law. Thereby, he hopes that the school will be a place to teach and study the orthodox Hoa Hao Buddhist doctrine, properly implementing the religious motto "Learning Buddhism, cultivating oneself" and following the religious practice direction "For the Dharma, for the nation".

Mr. Nguyen Huy Diem - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Executive Committee of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Sangha, Principal of the Hoa Hao Buddhist Intermediate School, said that in the 2025 - 2027 school year, the school will have 2 classes with 120 students. The school will train at the intermediate level with 26 subjects including 10 exoteric subjects and 16 esoteric subjects.
