Attending the event were representatives of the Ministry of Health ; Central hospitals; medical and pharmaceutical universities nationwide; Health Departments of Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri provinces; scientists, experts, domestic and international reporters; and sponsors.

On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Hoang Phu Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Thi Hoai Chung - Director of the Department of Health ; Duong Dinh Chinh - Secretary of Nghi Loc District Party Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors; representatives of medical units in the province.

The conference was attended by 1,200 delegates and scientists . Among them, there were 13 scientists from the following countries: USA, Germany, Sweden, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Philippines...

The 2025 International Scientific Conference was co-organized by Nghe An General Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital to promote the development of science and technology, enhance innovation, enhance cooperation, share experiences to improve professional capacity, international integration of medical staff and improve the quality of medical services, increasingly better meet the diverse health care needs of the people.

Nghe An General Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital spent 1 year preparing for the conference. The conference Organizing Committee received more than 250 scientific reports from researchers, doctors, lecturers, and experts at home and abroad.

The 2025 International Scientific Conference took place over 2 days (May 16-17), with 27 sessions, including 1 opening session, 2 general sessions and 24 thematic sessions. This demonstrated the richness of the conference's professional fields; at the same time, it showed a comprehensive picture of the health sector, from preventive medicine, clinical to management and training of health workers.

The conference was attended by 1,200 delegates and scientists; there were 14 reports from 13 international experts and scientists from countries such as the US, Germany, Sweden, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Philippines... This is a good opportunity for domestic scientists and medical staff to share in-depth knowledge, update the latest advances and expand multidisciplinary and multi-field research cooperation.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Hoang Phu Hien - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee gave an overview of Nghe An province in general, Nghe An health system in particular and the orientations and breakthroughs of Nghe An health in recent years; highlighting the role of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital - the final hospital of the North Central region.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated: The International Scientific Conference 2025 is a forum connecting scientists, experts, and medical staff at home and abroad to exchange and discuss medical issues of concern; share new research advances and achievements; and recognize and evaluate the challenges facing the health sector.

Through this conference, the health sector and Nghe An province will find useful solutions and appropriate directions to overcome all difficulties and achieve more achievements in the future, as the goal clearly stated in Decision No. 89/QD-TTg approving the "National Strategy for protecting, caring for and improving people's health until 2030, with a vision to 2045" of the Government.
