Opening of the sports festival to welcome Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party

On September 20, at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition House, the Provincial Party Committee held the opening ceremony of the Sports Festival to celebrate the success of the Provincial Party Congress, to welcome the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Nguyen Huy Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the units under the Provincial Party Committee.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented souvenir flags to representatives of units participating in the sports festival.

Participating in the sports festival are 48 branches and party committees with over 950 athletes competing in 5 sports: Table tennis, badminton, tug of war, pickleball and volleyball. In which, the sports: Table tennis, badminton, tug of war, volleyball will be organized at the Provincial Sports Training and Competition House; at Kim Duc pickleball court, the competition of pickleball will take place.

Provincial leaders and the Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to representatives of units participating in the sports festival.

The sports festival aims to promote the movement of physical training and competition, improve health for cadres, party members, and workers working at agencies and units in the Bloc, create a vibrant competitive atmosphere to contribute to the good implementation of political and professional tasks, welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Thereby, promoting the movement "All people practice physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho" to spread widely.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, competitions in the following sports took place: Badminton, volleyball, table tennis, pickleball, attracting the attention and cheering of a large audience. The sports festival took place over two days, September 20-21.
