Mr. Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, said: Vietnam's banking industry has been achieving outstanding results in digital transformation and innovation. With the close guidance of the Party, the Government and the State Bank, along with the continuous efforts of credit institutions and technology enterprises, we have built a modern, safe and effective payment infrastructure.

Advanced technologies such as QR Code, mobile payment, biometrics have been widely applied to improve service quality, optimize processes and create new values for customers. In recent years, the rate of non-cash payments has grown strongly, contributing to transparency of transactions, reducing social costs and promoting digital economic growth.
The event will spread a strong message: "Each wave of technology is only truly meaningful when it creates a wave of spreading trust and convenience for consumers."
We believe that the young generation - born in the digital age - will not only be the beneficiaries but also the driving force of change, contributing to building a smart, transparent, safe and sustainable payment society.
On behalf of the banking sector, the Deputy Governor accepted the 5 directives of Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc to deploy to the entire banking sector. In particular, please pay special attention to the widespread deployment of non-cash payment methods in all aspects of life as well as care to protect the rights and legitimate interests of consumers.
