(Chinhphu.vn) - On May 16, at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site - Presidential Palace, the opening ceremony of the National Exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh - National quintessence, contemporary stature" took place to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

The National Exhibition “President Ho Chi Minh - National quintessence, contemporary stature” displays nearly 300 valuable images and documents collected and exploited from archives, museums, relics, libraries, news agencies, and newspapers at home and abroad.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Director of the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace, shared that the exhibition recreates the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, closely linked to the culture, ethics, and revolutionary spirit of the Vietnamese people and international friends.

The exhibition depicts the stature and value of his legacy in the history of the nation and the times, expressing respect and infinite gratitude to the Leader who devoted his whole life to the freedom, independence of the nation and the happiness of the people.

The exhibition consists of 4 parts: President Ho Chi Minh - The man who left an impression of the century, President Ho Chi Minh - Symbol of the quintessence and spirit of the nation, Ho Chi Minh in the minds of international friends and Ho Chi Minh's legacy that endures and shines in the new era of development of the Vietnamese people.

In particular, this is also an opportunity for cadres, party members and people to understand more about the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people, the international communist and workers' movement, to practically study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, to promote to the highest extent the spirit of "Self-reliance, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-strengthening, national pride" to successfully carry out important political goals and tasks, and bring the country to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new revolutionary period.

The exhibition takes place from May 16, 2025 to the end of June 2025.

Here, the opening ceremony of the Storytelling Artifacts room also took place with the thematic exhibition "Uncle Ho with the South - The South with Uncle Ho" with 45 original documents and artifacts.

At the same time, the Relic Site at the Presidential Palace launched the book "135 Stories About Uncle Ho". The book is a collection of 135 authentic, simple yet profound stories, recorded from the memories of cadres, soldiers and compatriots who were fortunate enough to live, work and study close to President Ho Chi Minh during the period from 1954 to 1969.
