The thematic exhibition is co-organized by the Guangdong Museum of Revolutionary History (China) and the Ho Chi Minh Museum (Vietnam) with the support of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Guangzhou, and the coordination of many units, memorial houses and museums in China such as: Memorial House of the Eighth Route Army Office of Guilin; Museum of Wuhua District (Kunming); Museum of Hongyan Revolutionary History (Chongqing); Department of Culture, Sports , Radio, Television and Tourism of Jingxi City; Museum of the Liuzhou Army and Memorial House of the Eighth Route Army of the Chinese Red Army.
Attending the opening ceremony of the exhibition were Director of the Guangdong Museum of Revolutionary History Yi Xi Bing; Consul General of Vietnam in Guangzhou Nguyen Viet Dung; Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum Vu Manh Ha; Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Ho Chi Minh City Branch Luu Thi Tuyet Trinh; Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Hue City Branch Le Thuy Chi; leaders of many agencies, departments and branches of Guangzhou city including: Propaganda Department of the Guangzhou Party Committee; Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of Guangzhou; Foreign Affairs Office of Guangzhou city.

During a meeting with Liu Xiaoming, Deputy Director of the Guangzhou Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism, Consul General Nguyen Viet Dung said that the Exhibition is a very meaningful activity on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries; the Vietnam-China Cultural Exchange Year 2025 and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
In particular, this is the concretization of the orientation of "building a stronger social foundation" in the Joint Statements between the two countries' senior leaders during recent visits, and at the same time, it is a timely response to the "Red Journey of Youth Research and Study" launched by General Secretary To Lam and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping in April 2025 during the Chinese leader's State visit to Vietnam.
The Consul General also thanked the leaders of departments and branches of Guangzhou city for devoting many resources to investing and renovating Vietnamese revolutionary relic sites in the locality and creating many favorable conditions for Vietnamese tourists to visit.

For his part, Mr. Liu Xiaoming highly appreciated the effective and practical cooperation over the years between the Guangdong Museum of Revolutionary History and the Ho Chi Minh Museum. Through cooperation projects such as this exhibition, the people of the two countries, especially the young generation, will have a deeper understanding of the glorious and glorious history of the traditional friendship of “both comrades and brothers” written by the leaders and revolutionary soldiers of the two countries from the early difficult days.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Director of the Guangdong Museum of Revolutionary History Yi Xibing affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh was a great leader of the Vietnamese people and also a great friend of the Chinese people.
During his time in Guangzhou, he and other Vietnamese revolutionaries enthusiastically participated in Chinese revolutionary movements such as the League of Oppressed Peoples, the Guangzhou Uprising, and the Long March. During this period, President Ho Chi Minh also established close friendships and comradeship with leaders of the Chinese Revolution such as Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, and Liu Shaoqi.
According to Director Dich Tay Binh, the thematic exhibition "Revolutionary Path - Comrade Ho Chi Minh in China" is the first exhibition project co-organized by museum agencies of Vietnam and China. This is a practical activity to implement the Joint Statement of the two countries' senior leaders.
Mr. Dich Tay Binh also expressed his belief that this exhibition will become a new milestone in promoting cultural exchanges between Vietnam and China, helping the younger generation understand and inherit the precious heritage of friendship between the leaders of the two Parties, the two States and the people.

Representing Vietnam at the opening ceremony, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum Vu Manh Ha emphasized that over the past 75 years, friendly cooperation has always been the main stream in Vietnam-China relations. The two Parties, two States and peoples of the two countries have always given each other great support and assistance in the struggle for national liberation as well as in the cause of building socialism and developing the country.
"Everywhere in China, there are traces of President Ho Chi Minh's indomitable spirit, demonstrating his tireless efforts for the revolutionary cause. That was also the beginning of the tradition of solidarity, friendship and close cooperation between the people of the two countries. Up to now, the places that bear Uncle Ho's revolutionary mark have been preserved and promoted by the leaders of the Party, State, Government at all levels and the people of China, becoming priceless heritages of friendship "both comrades and brothers", said Mr. Vu Manh Ha.
According to Mr. Vu Manh Ha, through this activity, the Vietnamese side wishes to convey the message that the steadfast and lasting friendship in the revolutionary cause and national construction between Vietnam and China is a valuable asset that the two Parties, two States and peoples of the two countries need to "inherit well, protect well and promote well".

At the event, delegates and the public also enjoyed performances by Chinese students, Vietnamese students studying abroad and staff of the Guangdong Museum of Revolutionary History.
After the opening ceremony, many delegates visited the exhibition and learned about Uncle Ho's revolutionary footprints in Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Chongqing, Hong Kong and the milestones in the close relationship between Uncle Ho and the revolutionary leaders and people of China.
The exhibition in Guangzhou will take place for 3 months, from May 10 to August 10, and will be held alternately at many museums in Vietnam and China.
