Opening of Quang Ninh EXPO 2025 Week in Japan

On the afternoon of June 3, in Osaka province (Japan), a delegation of Quang Ninh province led by Comrade Bui Thuy Phuong, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, attended and cut the ribbon to open the Quang Ninh EXPO Week 2025. Also attending were leaders of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka; the government of Shiga province, Japan; the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Quang Ninh EXPO 2025 Week is held at the Vietnam Exhibition House and is part of the EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. Quang Ninh is the pioneer chosen to open a series of special strategic events introducing typical localities of Vietnam to the World Exhibition.

EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai with the theme: “Designing the future society for our lives”, will take place continuously from April 13 to October 13, 2025. Currently, about 160 countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation in the event and are expected to attract 28 million visitors worldwide.

The Vietnam Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai covers an area of ​​300m², located in the "Life Empowerment" area. With the theme "Inclusive Society with People at the Center", the Pavilion wishes to spread the proud story of Vietnam as a model of sustainable economic development, in harmony with cultural development, associated with progress and social justice. In the second month of discounts, the Pavilion has the theme "Vietnamese brands take off and fly far" with the participation of Quang Ninh province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Quang Ninh EXPO Week 2025, Comrade Bui Thuy Phuong, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, Head of the Quang Ninh Provincial Delegation affirmed: The event held at the Vietnam Exhibition House - EXPO 2025 Osaka, is a special occasion, a valuable opportunity to promote the image of a dynamic, hospitable Quang Ninh with majestic landscapes and strong development potential. He hopes that through the Quang Ninh EXPO Week 2025 event, he will introduce to international friends the image of Quang Ninh converging the values: heritage - innovation - integration - development; strengthen cooperation with Japanese localities, especially the Kansai region - where there are many similarities in service development, high-tech industry and human resource training; invite strategic investors in priority areas such as smart tourism, clean energy, manufacturing and processing industry, logistics, green urban infrastructure, digital transformation and high-quality vocational education.
