Produced since 2009, after 15 years of sailing on the Mekong River, La Marguerite Cruise has become a tourist highlight on the Tien River - one of the two branches of the Mekong River flowing into Vietnam. The cruise stands out with its white paint and ancient design, imbued with French architecture. The three-story, 72-meter-long cruise ship has 46 cabins and can accommodate up to 92 guests. Mr. Dang Hieu Trung, General Director of Focus Travel - the unit that manages and operates the La Marguerite cruise ship, said that it costs about 10 million USD to build a cruise ship of such scale and quality. The ship mainly welcomes international groups from the US, Canada, Australia, etc. to experience the land along the Mekong River, starting from Ho Chi Minh City and ending in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The interior architecture of the yacht is luxurious and sophisticated, decorated in yellow-brown and white tones, creating a cozy and cozy feeling for visitors. Every detail of the ship reminds you of the nostalgic France of the Art Nouveau period. The main lobby of the yacht stands out with a spiral staircase, creating an impressive highlight for the space. The name of the cruise also recalls the famous love story between Miss Marguerite and a Chinese man named Huynh Thuy Le. The two met by chance on a ferry across the Tien River and fell in love at first sight. Their pictures are placed in the reading room. At the Ponagar restaurant area, large glass windows allow visitors to take in the scenery of nature, the lives of people on both sides of the Tien River and the boats passing by. On the cruise, visitors can both explore the Mekong River and relax with amenities such as: outdoor jacuzzi, outdoor bar, gym, spa, reading room, etc. Early morning sunrise and sunset are the times visitors often choose to admire the lyrical river scenery of the West at the sundeck area. Visitors can experience many attractive European and Asian dishes and drinks, including dishes with typical flavors of the West. "I was very impressed with the space and amenities on the cruise, especially the beautifully presented dishes," said Nguyen Tran Huu Thang (tourist from Ho Chi Minh City). Mekong River cruise tours are usually crowded from October of the previous year to the end of March of the following year. The 8-day, 7-night journey from My Tho (Vietnam) through Cai Be, Sa Dec, Tan Chau, Siem Reap, Cambodia costs from 3,000 to 4,000 USD. Prices depend on the schedule and the type of room used. In addition to the 8-day, 7-night tour product, La Marguerite Cruise is currently researching and building a short 3-day, 2-night tour schedule associated with special tourist destinations in Ben Tre , costing about 2.4 million VND/night, to create a product suitable to the needs and tastes of Vietnamese people.
