Urgently investigate and clarify the cause of the house fire in Hoang Mai district

At around 03:20 on April 28, a house fire broke out at house number 87, lane 99/110/85, Dinh Cong Ha, Hoang Mai district, killing 3 people. To promptly overcome the consequences of the above fire, according to Document No. 1710, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Director of the City Police to preside over and coordinate with the Chairman of the Hoang Mai District People's Committee and related units to focus on overcoming the consequences, promptly investigate, clarify the cause of the fire, clarify the responsibilities of organizations and individuals and handle according to the provisions of law;

The Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Director of the Department of Health , the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Mai District and related units to visit, encourage, and provide material and spiritual support to the victim's family according to regulations; based on assigned functions and tasks, ensure environmental sanitation in the area where the fire occurred; report to the Chairman of the City People's Committee for direction on matters beyond their authority.

The Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee also requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to grasp the management areas, do a good job of analyzing and forecasting the situation, proactively issue directive documents on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue work with focus and key points. Focus on directing the drastic, effective and synchronous implementation of fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue work according to the area and field; continue to closely follow the goals and requirements, effectively implement the Resolutions, Directives and Conclusions of the Party, Government , City Party Committee, People's Council and City People's Committee on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue work.

At the same time, continue to promote and improve the effectiveness of propaganda and dissemination of legal knowledge on fire prevention and fighting; provide guidance on knowledge, preventive measures, escape skills and emergency escape when fire and explosion incidents occur; review, supplement and improve on-site fire prevention and fighting forces, the model of "Inter-family fire prevention and fighting safety team" and "Public fire fighting point" to meet the motto of "4 on-site";

In addition, propagate and mobilize 100% of households combining business and production with 2 or more floors without a second escape route to open a second escape route themselves, equip automatic fire alarm systems, tools, fire fighting and rescue equipment at home; guide owners of establishments and households to self-check fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue safety to proactively detect and eliminate risks leading to fires, explosions, incidents and accidents, focusing on checking conditions of roads, escape routes, fire prevention and fire fighting systems and equipment, electrical systems; manage and use electricity, fire sources, heat sources, flammable and explosive substances, fire and heat generating equipment (in which pay attention to checking electrical equipment, electrical protection equipment, electrical lines in the house...).

Proactively ensure fire and explosion prevention and safety during the April 30 Victory Day and May 1 International Labor Day holidays.
