Khanh Hoa commits to improving transparent and effective business investment environment

According to Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoa Nam, the province will meet and dialogue with businesses and investors to resolve petitions and publicly commit to ensuring transparent, effective and substantive progress in handling them.

On July 22, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to announce the plan to organize a conference to meet businesses and investors in 2025.

As planned, the meeting will have the participation of about 350 delegates and representatives of businesses and investors, taking place on July 25 at the northern tourist area of Cam Ranh peninsula (Khanh Hoa).

This is a meeting and dialogue conference with businesses and investors of the new Khanh Hoa province, after the merger of Khanh Hoa and Ninh Thuan provinces, and is different from the investment promotion or dialogue meetings held twice a year that Khanh Hoa province previously organized.

According to Mr. Tran Hoa Nam, the conference is not only a "meeting place for exchange" but also demonstrates the determination of the Khanh Hoa provincial government to act to foster trust and create a transparent and effective investment ecosystem.

Specifically, this is an opportunity for Khanh Hoa province to share its potential, investment opportunities, specific policies and development orientations to realize the vision of turning Khanh Hoa into a centrally-governed city by 2030.

It is also a space for provincial leaders to directly listen, discuss and resolve difficulties and obstacles for businesses, demonstrating their commitment to building a friendly, modern, dynamic and sustainable investment environment.

In the conference plan, the first content is that Khanh Hoa province meets with strategic investors and typical FDI enterprises to share visions and investment opportunities in priority areas, such as transport infrastructure, logistics, high-quality tourism, high-tech industry, sustainable marine economy and smart cities.

The second content is an official conference to meet and dialogue between businesses, investors and provincial leaders with a direct dialogue to resolve recommendations.

The third part is a symposium on "realizing the vision of a centrally-governed city, breaking through in the new era", discussing the strategy to upgrade Khanh Hoa urban area.

According to Mr. Tran Hoa Nam, Khanh Hoa province committed to publicizing all feedback content and processing progress after the conference to ensure transparency and real effectiveness.

At the same time, the province also "commits to continuing to improve the business investment environment, accompanying businesses, creating all favorable conditions and ensuring the best interests of businesses".

Regarding the removal of 11 projects with land and project bidding problems in Khanh Hoa

At this press conference, Mr. Tran Hoa Nam also informed and answered questions about resolving problems of businesses and investors related to hundreds of projects in Khanh Hoa that have existed for many years.

According to the Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, in Resolution No. 01-NQ/TU dated July 14, 2025 of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee on double-digit economic growth in the period of 2025 - 2030, one of the specific goals was identified as "clearing three bottlenecks and bottlenecks" of the province.

These include completing strategic infrastructure synchronously; improving the quality of human resources; and "focusing on handling long-standing backlogs of works and projects".

Mr. Nam said that according to the National Assembly's resolution, in Khanh Hoa there are 11 stuck projects divided into 2 groups. That is the group of projects that did not auction land use rights and the group of projects that did not bid to select investors.

Regarding the progress of handling the above 11 projects, although according to regulations the settlement progress is 12 months from April 1, 2025, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee requires that they be resolved this year and the milestone to strive for is October 2025 to complete the settlement.
