Khanh Hoa strives to welcome 15 million tourists by 2025

According to the report, in the first 9 months, Khanh Hoa tourism achieved many positive results. The total number of visitors reached more than 14 million, an increase of 15.8% over the same period in 2024 and reaching 89.4% of the yearly plan. Of which, international visitors reached 4.2 million (up 16.6%); domestic visitors reached 9.8 million (up 15.6%). Total revenue from tourism reached 56,161.4 billion VND, an increase of 18.4% over the same period, reaching 84.5% of the yearly plan. The tourism industry aims to welcome more than 15.7 million visitors in 2025; of which, international visitors are nearly 5.4 million, domestic visitors are more than 10.3 million, with total revenue of about 69,350 billion VND.

To promote tourism activities, in the last months of the year, the culture, sports and tourism sector will organize many activities: The 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival in 2025; Artistic photo exhibition "Colors of Vietnamese ethnic cultures"; My Hoa International Kite Surfing Tournament; Workshop on Developing Khanh Hoa Tourism into a Key Economic Sector; Conference on Promoting Trade and Tourism Connection between Halal Market Partners; Organizing to welcome international famtrip delegations to survey Khanh Hoa tourism; welcoming flights from new markets...

Concluding the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien highly appreciated the efforts of agencies, units and enterprises that have proactively advised, overcome difficulties, regularly researched, developed new products and maintained activities to welcome and serve tourists to Khanh Hoa. To complete the set goals, comrade Nguyen Long Bien assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and enterprises to develop detailed plans to organize cultural, sports and tourism events, tourism stimulus programs, new products to serve tourists to Khanh Hoa in the last months of the year, especially during Christmas and Lunar New Year 2026. The Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion focuses on promoting traditional markets such as China, Korea, Russia and expanding the markets of tourists from Thailand, Australia, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, India, Japan; Strengthen the application of information technology in tourism promotion activities. People's Committees of communes and wards build cultural and artistic activities suitable to local conditions; build and develop night-time economic models, diversify tourism products with cultural identity. Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association coordinates with Ninh Thuan Tourism Association to build tourism stimulus packages, develop new tourism programs, cooperate with airlines and major travel companies to expand the international tourist market...
