At Khatoco Khanh Hoa Tobacco Factory, engineer Truong Minh Tien - a machine technician, Workshop 2 has had many innovative initiatives, contributing to bringing many benefits to the unit. In 22 years of working at the factory, Mr. Tien has had more than 10 projects and innovative solutions from actual production labor. Mr. Tien shared that tobacco industry machinery and equipment are quite specialized, over time of use, the quality decreases, forcing the import of replacement parts at very high costs, sometimes unable to be imported immediately. This has prompted him and his colleagues to explore and research many solutions to localize spare parts with suitable materials and reduce costs, meeting the needs of continuous production. For example, the solution to renovate and replace copper bushings with ball bearings for the HLP2 carton packing machine. His initiative was highly appreciated by the factory's leaders, as the HLP2 tree packing machine operated stably and effectively, reducing material consumption, ensuring product quality, bringing great benefits to the unit...

At Khatoco Tobacco Raw Material Company, the spirit of innovation and creativity is always encouraged, thereby arousing the creativity of each employee to contribute to the overall development of the unit. “Over the years, we have continuously improved the tobacco stem separation production process. The company has applied the Lean Manufacturing method to analyze the process and eliminate waste points in the production line, thereby improving technical equipment such as: Replacing the cutting system with new materials; optimizing the automatic control system; improving the system, reducing energy consumption... Most recently, in March 2025, Ms. Vo Thi Duyen - Deputy Director of Khatoco Garment Enterprise and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Nhat - Deputy Director of Khatoco Khanh Hoa Tobacco Factory were awarded the “Creative Labor” certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor ; their initiatives and solutions have been effectively applied in production practices, contributing to improving labor productivity, product quality and bringing significant benefits to the enterprise. “With the three core values ​​of “Proactive - Creative - Effective” in the corporate culture, over the past time, Khatoco has focused on building a professional, dynamic, creative working environment and creating conditions for employees to maximize their capacity; promoting creative emulation movements, improving processes, and improving production and business efficiency.
