On the afternoon of July 21st, the Provincial Police and the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Cu Kuin District held an awards ceremony to commend individuals and groups who participated in the pursuit and capture of three extremely dangerous fugitives wanted in connection with the terrorist attack on the morning of June 11th, 2023, who were hiding in the district.

Accordingly, through intelligence gathering, on the afternoon of July 21st, a source discovered several suspicious individuals in Ea Ktur commune whose physical characteristics matched those of individuals involved in the June 11th, 2023 terrorist attacks in Ea Tiêu and Ea Ktur communes (Cư Kuin district), who are currently wanted by the Security Investigation Agency of the Dak Lak Provincial Police.
Immediately after receiving the information, the leaders of the Cư Kuin District Police directed the deployment of a task force to quickly verify the report, and at the same time assigned forces to quickly approach the Độc Lập hill area (belonging to Kniết hamlet, Ea Ktur commune) to surround it and prevent the suspect from escaping.

Identifying these as the last three of the six individuals directly involved in the attack on the People's Committee offices of Ea Tiêu and Ea Ktur communes in Cư Kuin district on June 11, 2023, and who are currently wanted by the Security Investigation Agency of the Dak Lak Provincial Police for the crime of "Terrorism against the people's government" as stipulated in Article 113 of the Penal Code, the leaders of the Cư Kuin District Police directed the mobilization of a force of 50 district police officers, 5 Ea Ktur commune police officers , and other professional units of the Provincial Police to surround the entire Độc Lập hill.
Following a raid, the police force of Cư Kuin district apprehended three particularly dangerous wanted fugitives: Y Khing Liêng (born in 1992, residing in Hòa Sơn commune, Krông Bông district), Nay Dương (born in 1968, residing in Ea KLok hamlet, Cư Pơng commune, Krông Búk district), and Y Hoăl Êban (born in 1970, residing in Mấp hamlet, Ea Pốk town, Cư M'gar district).
The police in Cu Kuin district have seized a number of military weapons and rudimentary weapons hidden by the suspects. Currently, the provincial police force is continuing to verify and consolidate the case file to strictly prosecute the suspects according to the law.

Thanks to the resourcefulness, courage, and efforts of police officers and soldiers from various units in swiftly and decisively apprehending particularly dangerous fugitives, on the afternoon of July 21st, Major General Le Vinh Quy, Director of the Provincial Police, acknowledged, commended, and rewarded the Internal Security Department, the Mobile Police Department, the Cu Kuin District Police, the Ea Ktur Commune Police, and five citizens for their outstanding achievements in detecting, pursuing, and successfully apprehending three particularly dangerous fugitives who were on the run.
On this occasion, on behalf of the leaders of Cu Kuin district, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee Phuc Binh Nie Kdam and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Kuin district Vo Tan Huy also encouraged, motivated, and awarded extraordinary commendations to the Cu Kuin District Police and other professional units for their outstanding achievements in combating and apprehending particularly dangerous wanted fugitives hiding in the district, protecting the peace and security of the people.
