Launching project to enhance capacity for low-income groups in Dien Bien

Accordingly, the project aims to reach and support business households and start-up and growing enterprises in 28 communes and towns in 4 localities (Tuan Giao, Muong Ang, Muong Lay, Dien Bien Phu City); more than 550 people are directly benefiting from production and business activities, of which over 90% are women and 91% are from ethnic minority communities. The aim is to expand economic opportunities and promote the development of small and growing enterprises, to improve livelihood and educational opportunities for low-income people in remote and mountainous areas.

The training program includes: Basic information technology application, business start-up and production, online security. After the training program, learners will continue to be supported through guidance and market connection activities to ensure that learners grasp and apply basic knowledge and skills to start and expand their business. In addition, the project will also support capacity building for a number of cooperative models in Dien Bien, helping to promote business cooperation and build local communities.
