Prosecuted suspect for stealing 42 phones worth nearly 1 billion VND

On June 26, the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Duong Province Police announced that this unit has issued a decision to prosecute Nguyen Viet Khanh (26 years old, residing in Son Long village, Giao Ha commune, Giao Thuy district, Nam Dinh province) to investigate the act of property theft.

According to investigation documents, at around 11 p.m. on June 14, Nguyen Viet Khanh broke into the Bi Luxury fashion store (124 Tran Hung Dao) and stole a cell phone, clothes for sale in the store, and some cash, with a total value of more than 3 million VND.

At around 2 a.m. on June 15, Khanh continued to break into the FPT store (address 36 Tran Hung Dao, An Luu Ward, Kinh Mon Town, Hai Duong Province) and stole 41 cell phones, with a total value of more than 935 million VND.

While committing the crime, Nguyen Viet Khanh was caught red-handed by Kinh Mon Town Police.
