Prosecution of director and two department heads of Dong Thap water supply branch

The incident occurred at the Nam Song Tien Water Supply Branch of Dong Thap Province Urban Environment and Water Supply Joint Stock Company.

Through the source of crime denunciation, the police force verified and investigated the case. Thereby, it was clarified that a group of officials of the Nam Song Tien Water Supply Branch had made incorrect payment and settlement records for labor rental costs, causing property damage to the company of more than 1.1 billion VND. The defendants colluded with each other to falsify payment and settlement records from 2018 to 2023.

Since then, the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Thap Province Police has prosecuted and banned 3 suspects from leaving their place of residence, including: Ho Minh Cuong (born in 1972, Director of the Nam Song Tien Water Supply Branch); Tran Tien Dat (born in 1971, Head of the Company's Technical Department); Chau Vinh Loc (born in 1978, Head of the Branch's Construction Technical Department).
