Prosecution of the case of 2 passenger buses colliding, causing 18 casualties

Regarding the case of 2 passenger buses colliding, killing 1 person and injuring 17 others, Chu Se District Police ( Gia Lai Province) has initiated a case to serve the investigation.

On May 1, the Investigation Police Agency of Chu Se District Police (Gia Lai Province) issued a decision to prosecute the case of "Violating regulations on road traffic participation" related to two passenger buses colliding at the intersection of Ho Chi Minh bypass and National Highway 25 (section through Chu Se town, Chu Se district).

As reported by SGGP Newspaper, at the above location, at around 3:00 a.m. on April 30, passenger bus with license plate 51B-294.89 driven by Nguyen Cong Dan (residing in Gia Lai province) collided with passenger bus with license plate 47B-020.26 driven by Dinh Van Hung (residing in Dak Lak province).

The accident killed passenger Pham Thi Hoang Oanh (49 years old, residing in Dong Nai province) and injured 17 others.

According to the Gia Lai Province Traffic Safety Committee Office, both drivers had valid driving licenses; no alcohol levels. Both passenger cars had valid registrations.

On the above road section, the maximum speed allowed is 70km/h, but before the collision, the passenger bus with license plate 51B-294.89 was recorded traveling at 84km/h. The speed of the remaining vehicle was not recorded due to lack of data from the trip device.
