Accordingly, with the increasing number of tourists coming to Tri An Lake (Tri An Commune, Dong Nai Province) and the increasing risk of drowning accidents, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Region 6 urgently recommends and requests people and tourism businesses to strictly comply with safety regulations.

Specifically, service establishments on and near the lake must remind visitors not to use alcohol when participating in water activities, and must provide life jackets for visitors when getting on the boat. Letting visitors use boats, canoes or swim out into the lake is strictly prohibited. Establishments also need to arrange supervisors, provide timely warnings, organize first aid training for staff and absolutely not operate in bad weather.

For residents and tourists, when traveling by boat, train, or canoe, they must follow the instructions of the driver and always wear a life jacket. Parents are advised to closely monitor young children and not let them approach the lake on their own; and at the same time, create conditions for children to learn to swim to proactively prevent drowning.

When detecting an incident, people need to quickly shout, use floating objects or long objects to approach and support the victim, then perform CPR if necessary. Rescue forces are always on duty, people can contact via numbers 114, Tri An Commune Police 02513.861.147 or Fire Fighting and Rescue Team, Area 6 (Major Nguyen The Gia) 0963.797.114.
