Comrade Quach Tat Liem, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation inspected the construction progress of the emergency project to prevent, combat and overcome the consequences of natural disasters on Provincial Road 435.
The project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 436 (section Km0+00 - Km7+00) is 7km long, passing through Phong Phu and Nhan My communes, Tan Lac district; the total investment is 300 billion VND from the provincial budget. The project started in February 2022. Up to now, Tan Lac district People's Committee has compensated and cleared 15.14ha/18.34ha, reaching 82%. The contractor has completed about 36.5% of the roadbed embankment items and is urgently constructing bridge items on the route. Currently, 114.665/189.665 billion VND of the total capital allocated until 2025 has been disbursed.
The emergency project to prevent, combat and overcome the consequences of natural disasters at Km27+750 and Km28+400 of Provincial Road 435 due to the impact of heavy rain is invested by the Department of Construction with a total investment of more than 63.9 billion VND. The project includes 2 items of design and construction of 2 overpasses at Km27+750 and Km28+400. The Department of Construction organized the handover of the construction site to the contractor on April 17, 2025 and issued the order to start the project on April 28, 2025. To date, the total value of the construction volume has reached 31.6% of the contract value.
The Ngoi Hoa - National Highway 6 project, with a length of 14.86 km, is built to connect National Highway 6 with Provincial Road 435, contributing to improving connectivity between tourist areas. The project started construction at the end of 2022 and is expected to be completed after 24 months. The project has a total investment of 325 billion VND, designed according to the standards of a grade 4 mountainous road. The starting point intersects with National Highway 6 at Km108+500, Phong Phu commune; the end point intersects with Provincial Road 435 at Km20+480, Suoi Hoa commune. The project aims to connect tourist areas on Hoa Binh Lake, Tan Lac and Mai Chau districts, helping to exploit the tourism potential of the locality and neighboring areas. However, the construction progress is slower than planned. The main reasons are site clearance and difficulties due to earthworks.
The Ngoi Hoa - National Highway 6 route is an important project connecting tourist areas on Hoa Binh Lake , Tan Lac District, Mai Chau. However, up to now, the project has been behind schedule.
During the inspection, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee criticized the construction unit for being behind schedule, especially the Ngoi Hoa - National Highway 6 project. To speed up the construction progress of works and projects, he requested the Party Committee and the Tan Lac District government to urgently resolve the compensation and site clearance of projects and works. At the same time, closely coordinate with the investor to completely resolve the problems caused by earthworks and relocation of technical infrastructure to create favorable conditions for the construction unit. Contractors need to focus on human and material resources to drastically speed up the progress of the project and closely coordinate with the local Party Committee and government to resolve the difficulties and problems arising during the construction process.
