Kien Giang strengthens friendship with Kep province (Cambodia)

On November 13, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province welcomed a delegation of the Cambodian Fatherland Development Solidarity Front Committee of Kep province to visit and congratulate on the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024).

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province welcomed the delegation of the Solidarity Front Committee for the Development of the Cambodian Motherland of Kep province.

Speaking at the visit, Mr. Som Piseth - Member of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party, Chairman of the Cambodian People's Party of Kep province, Governor, Chairman of the Committee of the Solidarity Front and Development of the Cambodian Motherland of Kep province said that Vietnam and Cambodia as well as Kep and Kien Giang provinces always support and assist each other both spiritually and materially to help the two sides develop and progress. The development, solidarity, cooperation and solidarity between Vietnam and Cambodia as well as between Kep and Kien Giang provinces are increasingly good.

Mr. Som Piseth congratulated the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day; wishing the solidarity and friendship between the two countries to develop comprehensively and last forever.

In his reply, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang Province Le Thanh Viet said that Vietnam and Cambodia are two neighboring countries with mountains and rivers connecting to each other, sharing a land border and adjacent sea areas. The people of the two countries have a long-standing traditional friendship and cooperation relationship. Kien Giang Province and Kep Province are two close neighboring provinces with a long-standing traditional friendship relationship. The people of the two provinces are always determined to preserve the traditional friendship to meet the aspirations and interests of the people of the two provinces for peace , stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province Le Thanh Viet spoke.

“In the atmosphere of solidarity and friendship; on behalf of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kien Giang province, I wish you good health and success in all fields; I wish the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia in general and Kien Giang province and Kep province in particular will be like the majestic Mekong River that will never dry up, thereby contributing to preserving and beautifying the tradition of solidarity and friendship between the two countries,” said Mr. Le Thanh Viet in his reply.
