Work 3 shifts, 4 shifts

The national key project 500kV line 3 is currently entering the final stage with the target date of June 30, 2024, the project must be completed and energized in phase 1 according to the direction of the Prime Minister . These days, leaders, commanders and workers at all levels at the construction site are highly focused on constructing the final items of the project. Despite the scorching June sun, with temperatures sometimes reaching nearly 400C, workers and laborers still stick to the project, regardless of difficulties and hardships, maintaining 3 shifts and 4 shifts.

Human resources and modern machinery were mobilized to concentrate on constructing the 500 kV line circuit 3 in Thai Binh.

At the location of column 129 in Tu Tan commune (Vu Thu), dozens of electricians of Thai Binh Electricity Company coordinated with the construction unit to brave the scorching heat to transport, assemble steel components and erect the column. Although the work was hard, everyone was happy and always reminded each other to "eat quickly, sleep quickly", "one person works as much as two" to strive to soon complete the column construction and installation to prepare for pulling the wire.

Mr. Hoang Ngoc Dieu, a worker at Thai Binh Power Company, said: Participating in the shock team to support the construction of the 500kV line 3, we clearly understand the importance of the project, so we feel very honored to be able to construct this important line. With enthusiasm, responsibility and love for the job, we will devote ourselves to achieving the highest productivity and quality. The workers are also very excited because during the construction process, we always receive timely attention and encouragement from the provincial leaders, the Northern Power Corporation and the leaders of Vu Thu district.

At the construction site of column 207 in Quynh Khe commune (Quynh Phu), there is always a force of 17-30 people working in 3 shifts; the workers also work day and night, making efforts to complete the assigned work.

Mr. Ma Ngoc Khanh, a worker at Bac Kan Electricity Company, shared: As electricity workers, we are tasked with strengthening the 500kV line 3 project that passes through Thai Binh province. The weather has been very harsh these past few days, sometimes scorching hot, sometimes pouring rain, but we still try to stay at the construction site, find every solution to overcome the situation, and are determined to complete the pole erection stage to prepare for pulling the wire according to the assigned schedule.

Continuing the glorious tradition of the electricity industry

It can be said that the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, the spirit of creative labor competition and the determination to overcome the sun and rain during the construction of the 500kV North-South transmission line, circuit 1 years ago are being vividly recreated at all construction sites of the 500kV transmission line, circuit 3 project.

Despite the hard work, workers at the 500 kV line 3 construction site in Thai Binh are still excited and happy to work.

Mr. Do Duc Thien, General Director of the Northern Power Corporation, said: Despite the difficult conditions of constructing the 500kV line 3, engineers and workers of the power sector units have made every effort, not afraid of hardships, and determined to complete the assigned tasks.

The working groups regularly inspect and grasp the situation at the construction site and promptly find solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles, speed up the construction progress, and ensure absolute safety for workers. With courage, intelligence, and enthusiasm for the electricity flow from the Central region to the North, the team of cadres, engineers, workers in the electricity industry and the forces participating in the 500kV line 3 Quang Trach - Pho Noi project will continue to write the epic of the renovation period on this historic project.
